As part of the Trax Retail family, we are a unicorn looking to accelerate our growth trajectory as we partner with major brands and retailers, ranging from Ulta Beauty and Unilever to Best Buy and Purina, to transform the way people engage with stores and products, both online and in the physical world.


What you will do

The account strategist is the front line to our brand partners and steward of building and maintaining client relationships, working with Fortune 500 clients such as P&G and Unilever, amongst others. The account strategist is expected to work in tandem with their Sales counterpart(s) to secure revenue, manage internal and external processes as it relates to a client’s campaigns, with a focus on growing the business from a revenue and/or portfolio perspective.


Core Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders through high-touch, consultative communication.
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day communication with the client associated to upcoming, live and completed campaigns.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams (Sales, Operations and Marketing)
  • Take a sales-driven approach to client management to help identify revenue/growth opportunities.
  • Address customer needs by working internally to determine the most optimal solutions to solve their business objectives.
  • Provide clients with campaign reporting and key performance metrics to support, upsell, incremental, and renewal conversations and opportunities.


Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing, or related media field preferred
  • 3+ years of digital media, shopper or agency experience
  • Experience in relationship management/account management/client service type of role preferred.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines while multi-tasking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive self-starter willing to learn and grow with an ever-changing business.
  • Ability to assist with time-sensitive requests or issue escalations with all levels of internal and external management as needed.
  • Strategic thinker in the development of campaigns, optimizations and understanding data.
  • Adept at analyzing results, synthesizing data, drawing out insights & implications, and developing insightful and actionable recommendations.
  • Sound decision making skills based in agency, client and industry knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau and proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience with mobile or interactive technologies preferred.
  • Knowledge of CPG and Shopper Marketing industry at key retailers
