Trax – The Final Frontier outlines the company’s five-year plan to launch first retail solutions for the cosmic future
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif – April 1, 2022 – Trax, a leading global provider of computer vision solutions and analytics for retail, today announced its five-year strategy to become the first retail technology solutions provider in space. In addition to a detailed launch plan, the company will create a committee coined the “Retail Space Force” made up of retail and outer space experts from national retailers and NASA. The project, referred to as Trax – The Final Frontier, officially kicks off later this year at an offsite conference in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
“At Trax we are always challenging ourselves to think bigger and broader to deliver best-in-class services to our customers,” commented CEO Justin Behar. “As we began ideating about what is in store for Trax in the future, we came to the conclusion that we were thinking too small. As the public discourse around the ubiquity of the Metaverse and inevitability of life beyond planet Earth creeps into every facet of human life, we have set the ambitious goal of becoming the first retail service provider in space. When the first retailer opens its doors on Mars, Trax will be there to ensure every shelf is in pristine shape.”
While no known plans for retail in space exist, Trax is committed to providing its full suite of solutions for retailers, brands and shoppers by the year 2027. “The infamous saying ‘build it and they will come’ comes to mind as we set off on this journey to the galaxy,” said Youval Bronicki, Chief Technology Officer. “The work is set out for us, but there is yet to be a challenge we cannot conquer. While we likely won’t see the fruits of this labor pay off in our lifetimes, it makes me proud to know future generations will reap the benefits of the work done today.”
